What happened to the Titanic's sister ship, the Britannic?

The Britannic was requisitioned as a hospital ship during WWI and sank in 1916 after hitting a mine in the Aegean Sea. Most of the roughly 1,000 people aboard survived; it remains one of the largest ships lost in that war.
