they're both still drifting through interstellar space with no power left, basically time capsules that'll outlast pretty much everything on earth.
the Pioneer probes actually carried metal plaques, not records (that was Voyager), showing humans and our solar system's location. both probes have since gone silent, Pioneer 10 last contacted in 2003.
